Welcomes Rev. Saito Seiwa
as our new Supervising Bishop

Our Mission:
Our mission is to work towards the cessation of suffering by providing Zazen (Meditation) and Dharma (the teachings) education and support for our community.

Our Temples:
The Arizona Ko Dai Ji Temple is currently located on a private residence at the East side of Tucson Arizona; 11893 East Miles St. The temple is open only on scheduled days and times. We are currently looking for a permanent temple site in Tucson proper. The Phoenix Temple is located at in suite 172 of 202 E. McDowell Rd., which is between 3rd St. and Central.

Our Sanga (fellowship):
We are a mixture of individuals with many different religions who choose to practice meditation and follow the Dharma.

Our Sensei (teacher):
Rev Kozen is an ordained Soto Zen Priest with permission to train and to transmit the Dharma. Kozen studied and received transmission under Matsuoka Roshi, founder of the Chicago and Long Beach Zen Centers.

Zen Buddist Saying:

but in the zen school we don't have a single thing!” — Ikkyu
